*New publication* The importance of contact - children's attitudes to refugees
Understanding Difference: How working with refugees can help your school. This guidance illustrates how working with refugees can be linked with the curriculum, foster good relations between communities and help children understand why people seek asylum. Our work with many schools, through Refugees into Schools, provides an effective challenge to myths and negative stereoypes about refugees.
Engaging with Schools: A guide for refugee community organisations. This guidance supports refugee community organisations to build effective relationshipswith local schools. It provides ideas for activities that could be delivered together, including those that raise awareness of why people become refugees.

If you would like to be involved in the project - as a volunteer, as a community organisation that would like support in increasing links with local schools or as a school that would either like to arrange a visit from one of our volunteers or discuss support in increasing links with local community organisations, please contact us.
