Employability Forum organised this exciting conference where recommendations from the day will be included in a submission to the Home Office, including how practitioners can be involved in implementing integration strategies.
Despite the economic downturn, there is still interest from employers in the skills and experience offered by refugee jobseekers, in particular those with professional backgrounds. We heard examples of positive stories so far achieved by programmes across the UK and are keen to see how we might join together more effectively to maximise support for this group during the recession.
