Employability contributed to the consultation process on Selective Admission - a new single points-based system for managed migration, ie routes to work, train or study in the UK. The Employability Forum has brokered a Joint Statement on Migrant Workers (pdf) with the Home Office, TUC and CBI. This was launched in September 2005 by Home Office Minister Tony McNulty. It sets out the roles and responsibilities of Government, employers and trade unions around migrant workers.
