We are looking for examples of employers who take a positive approach towards the employment of migrant workers.

Employers and delegates at a refugee employment conference
Employers can support the integration of migrant workers by:
- providing English Language training in the workplace or signposting relevant local courses
- helping with initial orientation, for example with accommodation
- ensuring that induction training includes practical
information on Life in the UK - using contacts with local banks and building societies to help opening basic bank accounts encouraging staff to act as mentors on the Time Together programme (a national scheme that is running in more than 12 locations throughout the UK. By 2007 it will have doubled in size and over 2550 refugees will be matched with a mentor).
